God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Isaiah 26:4b: "In the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength". The death of a loved one is hard to bear. Please take comfort in knowing that your heavenly father understands your pain as he too experienced the death of his son, Jesus Christ.
