Liberty,

Jeffery R. Walker, 56 of Liberty passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday March 24, 2017. 

Jeff was born in Alamance County on December 12, 1960 the son of the late Ross "Brother" Walker and Patricia Cates Grant. He was self employed as a mechanic for many years owning and operating Walkers Auto and Cycle Repair. On June 7, 2014 he married Teresa Stewart Walker who survives him. 

Surviving in addition to his wife Teresa are three daughters, Jennifer Mills (Bryan), Brandy Allison (Reggie) and Tonya Carter; three sons, Conner Walker, BJ Carter, and Corey Stewart; three sisters, Suzie Fuqua (Eddie), Betty Spell (Carl) and Windy Walker; a brother Billy Blue; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five nieces and five nephews. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday March 31, 2017 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. A Last Ride Celebration will be held on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 12 noon starting at Cedar Rock Park. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
