Graham,

James Clifton Turner, Sr. 85 of Graham passed away Sunday February 12, 2017 at ARMC. 

James was born in Haw River on August 25, 1931 the son of the late Charles and Bessie Kimrey Turner. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Burlington Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon Turner, Wilmer Turner and Charles Turner. On December 18, 1970 he married the former Irene "Mickey" Wilson who survives. 

Surviving in addition to his wife Mickey Turner of the home are two sons, James Clifton Turner, Jr. and wife Brenda and Chick Turner and wife Tammy; five grandchildren, Mikhayla, Meredith and Mackenzie Turner as well as David and Kenneth Bean; and six great-grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Burlington Assembly of God with Rev. Howard Thompson and Rev, Brian Rainbow officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
