Snow Camp,

James William "Billy" Carroll, Sr. 55 of Snow Camp passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2016. 

Billy was born in Alamance County on August 27, 1960 the son of the late Edgar and Edna Williams Carroll. He was a self employed paint contractor and enjoyed fishing, working on cars and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a daughter Stacy M Carroll. On September 27, 1978 he married the former Jane Morton who survives him of the home. 

Surviving in addition to his wife Jane of Snow Camp are one daughter, Amy Clay and husband Scotty of Graham; two sons, James Carroll, Jr and Fiance Avena of Burlington and Tyleke Carroll of Snow Camp; an adopted son Mike Hankenson and wife Lindsey of Burlington; four grandchildren; a special friend Mike Brown and many special nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday June 2, 2016 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
