Douglas Earl Jenne, 69 of Burlington passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at Moses Cone Medical Center. 

Doug was born in Haverhill Massachusetts on March 4. 1947 the son of the late Charles and Ruth Duston Jenne. He was a US Navy Veteran and served our country proudly for more than 20 years. He went on to become an engineer following his military service. On May 2, 2005 he married the former Martina "Tina" Forbes who survives him. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter Carla Jenne; two step daughters, Lisa Morton and Traci Tekely; grandchildren, Kendell and Olivia Tekely and Makenna Wilson; a brother Robert Jenne and wife Mary Ann; two sisters, Nancy McCormack and Kathleen Giacobbe; a very special friend who was like a son to him, Scott Helms as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday at The Lambs Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm prior to the service at the church.
