Deborah Viola Riley

Deborah Viola Riley, A long-time resident of the Mebane area, passed away on Sunday the 25th of February at Moses Cone in Greensboro NC at 4:04 pm. She was born on October 18th, 1961 in Durham NC to the late Thomas Vernon Wheely and Patricia Ann Kolz. She lived for her family spreading the love she had for her kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
She is survived by her children Crystal Johnson, Casey and James Lee, along with her late son Brooks Johnson who passed away last June, and Ashley Carroll Oliver. 
Her grandchildren Katelynn Johnson, ( Ethan Lashley ) Sierra Johnson, Carter Johnson and Karsyn Johnson also had a love for her nobody could compare to. 
Her sister Teresa Roberts stood by her side along with David Roberts and their children Nicholas Roberts, Kaitlin Roberts and the late Michael Cecil. 
She also had the support of her brother, Tommy Wheely, along with his children Julian Wheely, Amanda Wheely, and Travis Wheely. 
She was a very caring and loving woman to everyone and always wanted to help in every way possible. She was known and loved by many including her close family and friends. 
There will be a Celebration Of Life for her Saturday, March 10th at 2pm at her at her daughters house.
