David Newton, 35 of Gibsonville passed away on Tuesday June 6, 2017. 
David was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 12, 1981 the son of Patricia Barnette Newton and the late Robert Wray Newton. He was a member of The Lambs Chapel and had attended Elon College to get his MBA. David was a loving husband, father and son. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert Barnette, Sr. and his paternal grandparents, Lemmie and Louise Newton. 
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Nicole Dieckmann Newton of the home; four children, Abigail Newton, Andrew Newton, Aaric Newton and Alex Newton all of the home; his mother and father in law, Milt and Pam Dieckmann and a brother in law Daniel Dieckmann and wife Caroline as well as several aunts uncles and cousins. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday at The Lambs Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Newton Family Benevolent Fund C/O www.gofundme.com/newton-benevolent-fund . Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
