Clifford Ray "Jabo" Jeans, 70 of Burlington passed away on September 27th at his home.


Jabo was born in Franklin County on July 20, 1947 the son of the late Williford and Bertie Perry Jeans. He was employed as a propane delivery driver for many years. Jabo loved to cut up, go fishing, camping, cooking and entertaining his friends and family. He also enjoyed running his Turkey Shoot behind his home for over 30 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Mullins Jeans, brothers Tom and Williford Jeans and sisters Marie Sammons and Windy Moss.

 
Surviving are 3 children, Bambie Massey (Johnathan), Atlas Jeans (fiance LuWanda) and Timothy Jeans (Tammy); step children, Janet Lewis, Ann Kennedy (Billy) Elaine Vitek (Greg) and Scotty Lunsford; sisters, Janice Woodlief (Carl Ray), Judy Smith (James) and Peggy Bradley; gandchildren, Malachi Massey, Megan Jeans, Julia Wright (Tyler), Elizabeth Jeans, and Brandy Anderson; three great grandchildren and five step grandchildren. 


A Celebration of Life service is planned for 12pm Noon, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Turnage Farm 184 Old Halifax Rd Louisburg, NC 27549.  Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service and crematory.
