Billy Wayne Shropshire, III, 36, went to be with the Lord at 7:49 am on August 4, 2017. 

Billy was a good hearted person. Family as well as friends held a special place in Billy's heart. He loved to sit and talk to you about life analogies and had a love for playing the guitar and singing the song "Precious Memories". Gospel music along with Rhythm and Blues were two of Billy's favorites. Billy was a Nascar enthusiast along with playing and watching football. 

Billy was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Marvin Hudgins, his maternal grandfathers, Tommy Randolph and Ricky Noah. 

Surviving are his father Bill Shropshire, Jr.; his mother Dee Noah; maternal great-grandmother Burma Hudgins;  maternal grandmother, Donna Randolph; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins; paternal grandparents, Pat and David Bledsole and Bill and Deborah Shropshire along with a special aunt, uncles, and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Burlington Assembly of God. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Kellam Family Care, 109 Roanoke St, Reidsville, NC 27320. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
