Bernard "Bun G" Faulkner, 89, from Person County, North Carolina passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance Caswell. Bun G, son of the late Roland Faulkner and Marie Jones Faulkner, was born on February 28, 1927. 
He loved spending time, as a resident, with people like Christine, at Loving Touch Family Care Home in Roxboro. He was a retired Truck Driver, known for his big personality, quick-wit and funny sayings, like "I'm driving this ambulance, you play dead."

Fond memories are left with his former wife and friend, Clara Poole Faulkner of Burlington; sons, Jeffrey Faulkner of Mebane; Jarrett Faulkner of Belleville, Illinois; Tonya Faulkner of Greensboro; sister, Mary Ruth Graves of Washington, DC; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
In addition to parents, He is preceded in death by daughter, Trena (Michael) McNeill of High Point; siblings, McCoy, Dock, and Nanny L. Stanfield. 

A public memorial will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 5-7 pm at Omega Funeral Services & Crematory in Burlington.
